Kantar Worldwide's Global Brand Footprint Report 2020 has been released by Kantar Worldwide. The ranking, which covers 35 countries, monitors the footprint of brands in the food, beverage, health and beauty, and home care categories, revealing which brands are purchased and frequently by more consumers, and visually showing the brands that consumers choose the most. The ranking measures consumer reach (CRP) as a metric to truly reflect consumer choice by measuring the number of households worldwide that buy a brand (penetration rate) and the frequency of purchases (the average number of times consumers buy a brand each year).
The report shows that in the Chinese market, Chinese brands continue to outperform international brands, taking the top ten brands with the most consumer choices, while 30 of the top 50 brands are local Chinese brands, accounting for 60% of the total.
